Manage users and their status in the administration

You can manage users from the User Management section under the Administration menu. You can navigate to User Management from the feature navigation shown below.


Clicking on the user management will open the following page.


In the user management screen, you will find the existing users and their status.

User status

You can find the possible statuses of the users in the user management.

Active: The user with an "Active" status can access the platform and perform all relevant actions associated with their role.

Inactive: The users with inactive status are temporarily restricted from accessing the platform.

Pending activation: The users with a "Pending activation" status are in the process of being onboarded or have requested access to the platform but have not activated their account.

Actions:

You can edit, remove, and resend invitations, which are the actions for the added users.

  • Edit: You can edit the user's first name, last name, role, status, and data access.

  • Remove: Clicking on remove will delete the user from the User management screen. That means the user can not access the application. However, the user's activity will not be deleted. In simple terms, remove works like a soft delete.

  • Resend invitation: You can always resend the invitation to the users if the invitation sent before has expired. This action is only available for users with a "Pending Activation" status and will not work for users who are active or inactive.
