How to navigate to the segmentation

To access the Segmentation, go to the left-side panel menu. Select the Demand Planning icon from the options list, then select Segmentation to continue.

The landing page of the segmentation screen shows the following details in a tabular view.

  • Time series: The segmentation analysis is based on the specified time series data, which can be either Units or Revenue

  • Last updated: The Date and time indicate when the segmentation was created or last edited.

  • Last run status: The Last Run Status indicates the current state of the segmentation process:

  • Not Started: When a segmentation is created, its status will initially be in the Not Started state, indicating that the segmentation process has not yet been initiated.

  • Running: When the segmentation process has started, the status will change to Running, indicating that the segmentation generation is currently in progress.

  • Success: The segmentation generation has been completed successfully.

  • Failed: The segmentation generation process encountered an error and was not completed.

  • Action: Run, edit, and delete

  • Run: After creating the segmentation, its status will be in the Not Started state. To run the segmentation, click the Run button.

  • Edit: An option is provided to edit the segmentation parameters. Clicking it will open the edit segmentation screen which is similar to the create segmentation.

  • Delete: The segmentation can be deleted by clicking on the delete button. This will delete the segmentation permanently.

    • To delete the segmentation, click the delete button on the list screen.

  • This will open a popup like the one below.

  • Clicking yes will permanently delete the segmentation from the application.

  • Click No to terminate the action.

  • Create segmentation: To create a segmentation, click on the Create button. This will navigate you to the segmentation creation screen, where you can define and configure the segmentation parameters.

  • Refresh: A Refresh button is provided to check the latest segmentation status. Clicking on it will update the status to reflect any progress or completion of the segmentation process.
