This functionality allows the planner to decide how often notifications should be received — either immediately, hourly, or daily.
You can set the frequency for receiving email notifications on any screen across the application by clicking the bell with the email icon <inset icon> in the notification panel. The following are the options in the email notification preferences.
Immediate: Selecting this option will receive notifications instantly after an event that triggered an exception alert.
Hourly: You can set a specific time interval (e.g., every 2, 3, or 5 hours) to receive notifications.
For instance, if you select a 2-hour frequency, notifications will be sent every 2 hours from the time of the event.Daily: You can choose to receive all notifications on specific days at a particular time.
For example, you can configure the system to send a summary of notifications every 2 days at 9:00 AM.
Steps:
Click the Set Email Notification Frequency icon.
Select the desired Email Notification Frequency option.
If Once Every is selected, choose whether you want to receive notifications based on Hours or Days.
If the Hours option is selected, enter the number of hours (e.g., 2, 3, or 5) to define how frequently notifications should be sent.
If the Days option is selected, enter the number of days and specify the exact time at which you want to receive the notification.
After configuring the frequency, click Save to apply the changes.
